Wholesale FAQ
Wholesale questions, answered
Low-risk wholesale for independent New Brunswick retailers — start with one piece, inspect products locally, and pick up with no shipping fee.
Who can apply for wholesale pricing?
Independent retailers and small business owners — convenience stores, gift shops, beauty and home stores, toy and stationery shops, market vendors and online sellers. We work mainly with businesses in New Brunswick and Atlantic Canada. You can apply before you have a storefront; tell us about your business and we will follow up.
Does submitting the application place an order?
No. The application is only a request for a wholesale account. Nothing is ordered, reserved or charged when you submit it, and there is no obligation to buy afterwards.
What happens after I apply?
We contact every applicant within one business day, by phone or email, to confirm your business details and set up your wholesale account. Once your account is approved you sign in and see wholesale pricing on the catalogue. If we need anything else, such as your Business Number, we will ask during that first conversation.
How long does the application take?
About 60 seconds. Only your business name, your first name, your email and your city are required — everything else is optional and can be shared later.
Do I have to buy full cases?
No. There is no full-case requirement. Every product starts from just one piece, so you can test a product in your store before committing to more.
Can I pick up locally instead of paying shipping?
Yes. You can pick up your order directly at our New Brunswick stores and pay no shipping fee.
Can I inspect the products in person first?
Yes. Our online catalogue is for reference only — visit a Martin Max store to see and handle the real product, packaging, size and quality before you buy, including before you apply.
What are the prices?
Products start from $1 at retail, and approved wholesale partners get pricing up to 60% off our in-store retail prices. Retail prices are visible to everyone in the public catalogue; wholesale prices appear in your account after your application is approved.
What if a product doesn't sell?
Start with one piece and restock only what sells, so you keep overstock low. Because we are a local store, returns and exchanges are straightforward; eligibility is confirmed by the Martin Max team and may depend on product condition and category.
